Professional Experience

Elizabeth Carney is an entrepreneur passionate about using nutrition to help people evolve from reacting to illness to actively create wellness.

She does this through Zen Heart Life Style Intelligence™ programs that she brings to corporations, benefits programs and motivated individuals. Through her ten-week programs, people learn to develop new habits that position them for optimal health.

A practicing consultant for five years, Elizabeth Carney utilizes the substantial research linking nutrition and health, coaching clients and corporations about preventive health care. Her vision is to help change the paradigm of medicine by incorporating a more proactive apporach to health based on nutrition and avoiding the genetic inheritance of our ancestors.

“Lifestyle Intelligence” means developing a holistic personal philosophy on nutrition, exercise, and stress management.

Her Nutri-genomics work at California Pacific Medical Center’s Institute of Health and Healing has allowed her to work with integrative teams of MDs, acupuncturists, Ayurvedic doctors, nutritionists and other holistic healers in a clinical setting.

Educated at Bauman College in Sonoma County, California, and certified as Nutrition Consultant, Elizabeth leverages food choices as ingredients for wellness. Her commitment to the pleasure of delicious and nourishing food for her clients began with her past experience owning six award-winning restaurants.

She is a member of the Board of Directors at Bauman College, member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP), Reconnective Healing Association and is Certified in Therapeutic Lifestyle Change by First Line Therapy.
